The history of Hagmann Confectionery and Café
Founded in 1836, Hagmann Confectionery and Café represents Lower Austrian – and especially – the Wachau confectionery tradition like no other. Today we see ourselves as the guardians of old recipes and traditions, as well as a modern service company and specialty manufacturer. Our product range encompasses classic pastries and cakes, chocolates, pralines, and gingerbread, as well as coffee and ice-cream specialties.
Our central service promises are high product quality, customer orientation in the form of top consultation services, and fulfilling special requests. As a family business, employee satisfaction is as much a concern to us as social commitment to the weakest members of our society. We are regionally rooted – Wachau and the Waldviertel are our home. We source our ingredients, our recipes, and our staff here!
All in all, our pastry shop is a “creative workshop for sweet dreams” and our coffee house in Krems’ pedestrian zone is not known as “the gourmet rendezvous” of Lower Austria for nothing.
